GnuPG ist eine quelloffene und freie Implementierung des OpenPGP Standards. Es dient zum Verschlüsseln und digitalen Signieren von E-Mails. In diesem Vortrag der fhLUG wird zuerst die Theorie der Verschlüsselung mit GnuPG behandelt. Anschließend wir die Erstellung von Schlüsselmaterial auf Linux, Windows und OS X praktisch behandelt. Die Teilnehmer sind angehalten, eigene Laptops mitzubringen, um die im Zuge der KN erstellen Schlüssel später weiterverwenden zu können.

GnuPG is an open source and free software implementation of the OpenPGP standard. It’s used for encrypting and digitally signing e-mails. This talk held by the fhLUG will cover the theoretical background of encryption with GnuPG. Additionally, we will create GnuPG keys on Linux, Windows and OS X. Participants are asked to bring their own laptops, so they can use the keys created during the Knowledge Night
later on.
